I originally drew this on a sketch book I made. I liked it so much I scanned it and colored it in using the GIMP. I had intended to draw a phoenix on the cover, funny how things progress. I'm still debating whether or not I should paint the actual cover. I was advised to leave it as ink. Either way I have to seal the cover. Once I do my it will be decided.
I know it's been quite a while since I've posted anything but here I am again. I tried this new drawing program called Mischief. I'd have to say it is very intuitive. Best of all it is very affordable. So affordable, I'm strongly considering purchasing it. It's still a young program and lack a few features but it seems to have enough for me to make good use of it. I'm leaning more towards it than Photoshop, GIMP or even Artrage. Many of my future drawings may be coming from Mischief so look forward to that. Here are a few already.
Each of these pictures are actually part of one picture. The last picture buried deep within the previous. to gain a better understanding check out the my video below.
This is an event that was held in my school, J Sargeant Reynolds. The Dancing was quite excellent.
I did a little fan art in hope of attracting an audience to my channel. I've always been a Starcraft fan. I'm particularly partial to the Zergs, specifically zerglings. When I saw the little guys burrow and cause havok, I fell in love. Check out my speed art video below.
I took one of those alchemy session pictures I had lying around and made a digital painting of a Leprechaun sitting on a toadstool. I've been meaning to do this for some while, so what better time than now. You can watch the youtube video of me painting it at my channel, Radioactiveroach Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone!
Because I know you guys can't get enough of my lulling, dulcet voice, I made a new video tutorial. Please enjoy thirteen minutes of me showing you, "How to Draw Zombies"
My drawing of a futuristic armored soldier trying to fend off a robot rebellion. This drawing was done digitally using Manga Studio EX. See the video of me drawing it at my Youtube channel, Radioactiveroach.
I did my first video tutorial on how I draw a humanoid figure. I follow my usual thought process and go over some observations.
Thanks for the Lift
I must say, as much as I like to advocate the GIMP, Photoshop is very intuitive. After just a few minutes with it I was able to perform many tasks. I'm not so sure my background with PaintTool Sai and the GIMP didn't help a little though. I have a feeling that I haven't even scratched the surface with this Photoshop. I will be using it more. You can see a video of me drawing "Thanks for the Lift".
